Tour Details

A one-day trip from Barcelona or any other place in Catalonia — with a comfortable round-trip transfer by car.

The first stop is the Tavertet cliffs. Here you will enjoy an easy walk (about 6 km along a flat trail) with views of the valley, the river, and the picturesque Sau reservoir. We will see the submerged chapel, cliffs rising above the water, and green expanses stretching to the horizon. This place seems made for leisurely contemplation and photography.

Then we head to Rupit — one of the most beautiful medieval towns in Catalonia. Narrow stone streets paved with hardened lava instead of asphalt, a shaky suspension bridge, and old houses preserve the atmosphere of the past. Here, time flows more slowly, and every turn reveals a new scene — from cozy squares to authentic facades with flower-adorned balconies.

After a short walk around the town, the second route awaits — a circular trail about 8 km long. It leads to Catalonia’s highest waterfall, Salt de Sallent, and then to the Bassis viewpoint, from where you can admire impressive views of the mountain landscapes and valleys. The trail passes through more rugged terrain, but the route is fairly easy and suitable even for travelers with children.

After returning to Rupit, we will end the day with a comfortable transfer back to Barcelona or its surroundings.
