Frequently Asked Questions

Have questions about tours, bookings, or documents? We've gathered answers to the most common questions to make your trip as smooth and worry-free as possible.

  • 01. Which months are best for planning this trip?

This trip can be planned for any month of the year. Ideal months are April through October, when daylight hours are long and the weather is generally good. In winter, due to shorter daylight hours, some days may need to be shortened.

  • 02. How weather-sensitive is this route?

Unlike many other routes, this one is virtually unaffected by weather.

  • 03. What should I do before the trip?

Before the trip, I need to purchase round-trip tickets to Prague, book a car, accommodations for the entire route, and tickets to some attractions. Additionally, if I haven't already, I recommend installing Uber, Bolt, or Liftago taxi apps linked to a bank card that works in the Czech Republic, as well as an app for the "Bridge of Time" nature trail in the Dolní Morava resort. It is also recommended that you read this material in its entirety, decide on the optional sites to visit, and pay attention to the important points marked along the route.

  • 04. Can this route be completed without a car, using public transportation?

No, this particular route is designed for travel by car. Some sections of this route are simply not accessible by public transportation. If you need a route adapted for public transportation, we can create a customized itinerary for you, taking this factor and all your other preferences into account.

  • 05. Where can I rent a car for this route, and what kind of car is suitable?

You can rent a car from any rental company in the Czech Republic operating at the route's starting point (Prague, preferably with airport pickup). You can also bring your own car. There are no unpaved roads or difficult trails along the route, so any passenger car can complete it without any special off-roading requirements.

  • 06. Does the trip program include a wake-up time and bedtime?

Yes, the recommended start time for the route is indicated at the beginning of each day. Typically, it's optimally timed to coincide with the opening and closing times of the sites we plan to visit.

  • 07. What meals are included in the itinerary?

The trip includes a fairly substantial breakfast, a light lunch, and a full dinner. There are generally no recommendations for breakfast on the route – we eat it either at the hotel or at any cafe we like (if there are interesting options on site, recommendations are included in the itinerary). Lunch can be packed in the morning or evening (picnic sets, sandwiches, snacks, etc.). If there are interesting places for lunch or snacks along the route, these are also indicated. For dinner, at each overnight stop, we provide recommendations for the best local restaurants serving authentic Czech cuisine.

  • 08. Is this route suitable for traveling with children?

The route is ideal for children aged 8-10 and up and includes interesting locations for them. For younger children, the decision whether to accompany them on the route rests with parents, who are best acquainted with their children's abilities and needs. Very young children may find some of the pedestrian crossings challenging.

  • 09. Is this route suitable for people with limited mobility?

No, this route includes many steep steps, old buildings, and rugged terrain. Unfortunately, not all areas are accessible to people with limited mobility. However, we can prepare a specially adapted route upon request.

  • 10. How were the locations selected for the route, and why did you leave some out?

During the route development process, a vast number of locations and opportunities, materials, reviews, and recommendations were studied. Furthermore, the route itself was thoroughly tested. Some attractions were discarded because similar, more interesting sites were already on the route. Some interesting points are located far from the main route, and including them would have required making large detours, which would have prevented the inclusion of other sites. A significant number of attractions were eliminated after testing, confirming that they evoked less emotion than other points on the route. We are also fully aware that everyone is different, and some will find the places we left out more interesting than those we did. For such people, there's always the option of ordering a custom itinerary from us or using this ready-made itinerary as the basis for a customized one.

  • 11. Is the itinerary too crowded, and is there enough time for everything?

We assume that when traveling, you want to experience more and see more places. Physical rest, sleep, and laziness are perfectly possible at home, not in another country. Therefore, we adapt to daylight hours and strive to fill each day of the trip with impressions. Thanks to optimal logistics and thoughtful timing, we manage to see at least one and a half to two times more than the average unprepared traveler. And don't rush anywhere, just enjoy strolls through parks or beaches, admire architectural details, or take leisurely photos. All the sites included in the route can be visited and explored at a leisurely pace—this has been proven.

  • 12. What should I bring on this trip?

We recommend good, comfortable hiking shoes (preferably trekking shoes or at least sneakers), clothing appropriate for the weather, hats, and lightweight backpacks. No other special equipment or gear is required for this route.

  • 13. How to use this route?

Even when preparing for the trip, it is essential to read the entire route and complete all necessary steps in advance (bookings, pre-paying for tickets, etc.). Later, during the trip, it is recommended to carefully review the plan for the following day each evening.

  • 14. Is it possible to start the route from a city other than Prague?

Prague was chosen as the starting and ending point of the route because it receives more flights than other cities in the Czech Republic.

  • 15. Can I change individual parts of this route?

Yes, you can use the existing route as a basis and modify it as you see fit, removing less interesting sites and adding new ones. However, be careful, as you will have to calculate the logistics and timing yourself.

  • 16. Can I change the order of the attractions within a single day?

The order of the attractions on each day was not chosen randomly, but based on the optimal route. This means that if we change the order, we may not have enough time for something; we may arrive at some attractions before they open and have to wait, or we may not be able to visit others at all, arriving after closing. Therefore, we do not recommend changing the order, and if you do, consider all the consequences yourself.

  • 17. Can I complete this route in fewer days?

Yes, it's possible if you reduce the number of places you visit. We recommend contacting us to create a custom itinerary tailored to your needs and preferences.

  • 18. Can this itinerary be expanded over more days?

Yes, of course. If you want to stay longer in one place and have the time, it's quite easy. However, we recommend not splitting the existing days of the itinerary but adding new ones in between.

  • 19. Can you create a custom itinerary just for me?

Yes, we'd be happy to. We can create a significantly modified itinerary based on this one, or a completely new one based on what you want to see and experience. Your pace, your preferences, your interests—everything will be factored into the new itinerary, carefully calculated, and optimized. Naturally, this will cost additional money and require additional development time.

  • 20. Can you fully organize the trip for us along this itinerary?

Yes, no problem. We're ready to find the best hotels for your needs, book and purchase all your tickets, arrange transportation, and, if needed, local guides or a coordinator to accompany you throughout your entire trip. Contact us, and we'll make everything as convenient as possible, saving you time and money.
